Have a 94 ranger with the 2.3, suspect valves are bad due to exhaust leak for 5 years, have a head from a 95 ranger with the 2.3. Everything I found doing research show different part numbers for the heads, will the 95 head work on the 94?

They should interchange, the difference is in '95 they changed to smaller valve stems for less resistance, if possible use the rockers and cam from the '95 head as some of the parts changed to go with the smaller valve stems, the cam timing stayed the same.

I am going to bolt the complete 95 head on.
