We have a truck down at work that is leaking brake fluid somewhere by the gas tank on the driver's side. Can't exactly see where it is as the brake lines run inside the frame rail, and the gas tank makes it virtually impossible to see. Is there some kind of valve or brake line junction located there that could have gone bad? I presume the only way to get to it is dropping the tank (or pull the bed off and remove the tank).

Sounds like the body line has rotted through finally. Cut it out and run a new hard line. No need to remove the tank or pull the bed, just slide in in along side the tank. If you find that the line is good under the cab still you can cut, flare and join the new line in with a union there. If not, run a new line right from the master to the back.
