1994 Ranger upgrade

Hi. I am new to the ranger and i was thinking about doing a couple of upgrades. the first i was thinking of was taking the 4.6 v8 out of a 1996 mustang GT and throwing it into the ranger. any suggestions or ideas about that? the other question i had is on the torsion bars. everybody has been telling me that i can just crank them up to raise my front end but i was thinking that the 94's didnt have them. just wondering and any input would be appreciated.

Your '94 has coil springs with the TTB front axle.

There's a member on here by the name of 281Ranger who swapped a 4 valve 4.6 into his 98 Ranger. The heads on the 4 Valve are alot wider and take up more space so a 2 Valve should be easier. I'm sure he could give you plenty more info on the swap though.
