Hello everyone, newbie here. trying to figure how to attach a photo of a piece of metal that was stuck to the drain plug in my tranny. Truck has 200.+ miles and this is the second trans..
It says the photo was attached but I can not find where.. Anyway, the piece is metal, and appears to be galvanized. Tranny makes a strange intermittent noise in 4 and 5 at high speed. (high rpm). but I can't duplicate it on the jack stands. In fact I'm not sure it is the trans. I have heard loose baffles in mufflers make a similar sound, but then again, no noise on the stands.
Any ideas?
