Can the spare tire jack and handle from a newer Ranger be used on a 1994 model? Its missing every single part of the tire jack - the handle under the hood, the jack, and the lug wrench - and the newer model just looks easier to handle.

Also, it appears to have two distributors - purely for my own curiousity, why not a single distributor with 8 plugs?

Not really. You can weld? Then get the parts and build it. I know only two buddies who did it. They did not like the crank system and one buddy said it broke on him twice after a few years of owning his Ranger for a long time. So, he converted to the old style and he was happy and another or our buddies liked his idea and he did the same. Both of them are fabricators and they did a great job. Me...I have a spare 33x12.5 mounted in the bed. I have a spare under the bed that has never been used, but I keep it there just in case I get rear ended. I feel it might lessen the impact..maybe or maybe not.

I'm guessing you have a 4-cyl. You have no distributor. You have two coil packs. You have two because Ford only makes two. They make one with 2 coils (4-terminals) and they make one with three coils (6 terminals). The 4-terminal units are used on both 4-cyls and V-8s.

That makes a lot more sense than two distributors :)

It's my dad's truck, he's in Ohio and i'm in Wisconsin so I can't actually see what he's looking at.
