1994 B3000/Ranger fuel sending unit - identify rubber line cap thingy-
What is this thing (circled in red) and is it suppose to be split at the tip?
Can't see spending $80-90 on a whole sending unit just for this little thing being bad.
:icon_confused:
Thanks in advance :icon_thumby:

Think I figured it out - It's a "bladder" to allow return fuel to the tank - like a one-way value - looks like I'll have to buy a complete hanger unit - which is good, the new ones look better designed than my OEM, especially over the recessed area where the lines come to the top that allows water to settle and cause rust - way to go Ford :headbang:
