when i was driving yesterday my truck stopped moving i would give it gas and the engine would just rev then i tried putting it in 4x4 and made a horrible noise i towed it to aamco they said they think its the t-case it might have a broken rod or something like that it not putting out any power.

Far more likely to be a transmission failure rather than a transfer case failure.

1354 transfer cases (electronic or manual) tend to outlast a4ld's exponentially.

You need to check the fluid level/condition/color in both (or lack thereof) and post the results......

tranny fluid is full good color, oil from case is good... it shift through gears and when i have it in park it still rolls. when i put it in drive engine revs same as in reverse.

And when its in drive spedomoter goes to 35-45 mpg while im sitting

Odd........

Bear in mind that the speedo pick up is on the output side of the transfer case.......

I would go with what 4x4junkie said in your other post. Look for a rear end/driveshaft failure.
