So after I put my aftermarket intake on it was working fine and I got more horsepower then suddenly when I pushed on the gas it barely moved forward I was only getting around 1500 rpm and nothing more does anyone know what the problem with this could be??
Edit

???

Throttle cable?

What engine?

What do you mean by throttle cable and it’s a 1994 Ford ranger xlt 6cylinder 4.0L

The title suggests you have a lighting problem... but it's an acceleration problem?

You said you changed to a 3rd party intake manifold, which means you had to change the throttle cable hook up, so......

All engine RPMs are based on AIR not fuel, the throttle plate lets in more air for higher RPMs, the throttle cable opens and closes the throttle plate
So limited RPMs.......................check the throttle :)

Engines are also self powered AIR pumps, so if exhaust system gets clogged up then "used air" can't get out and "new air" can't get in, so limited RPMs

By intake do you mean a new intake manifold, or a new intake pipe i.e "a cold air intake"?
