I have a 1994 4x4 automatic that needs a kick down cable. A good used one is fine. Hit several boneyards and no luck.

Unfortunately the Amazon sources don’t have it. My truck is a 1994 4x4 v6 4L. The part number is E9TZ-7A187-A.

we have used that one.... at least thats the number from before.

it says jeep but i have it under my 4.0 ford stuff. call them and see what they have

that indicated actual column shift cable.

i would call and see if the throttle valve cable is available form those other guys and if not(i assume i called on it to get one been years) you may have to make a throttle valve cable.

maybe from the aod style modified to work for the a4ld. they are at the firewall.... maybe one for a fox 4 cyl mustang or something.

oops..my apologies.
I thought they were the same...
I've been under that thing a hundred times and never noticed another cable - now I gotta go and get dirty again - I hate finding out new stuff that I thought I knew already ;brownbag;

Ummm... yeah.
The first one I f-ed up by not completely fastening/snapping the bracket to the notch in the firewall bracket so it only lasted a couple of months - operator error. The second is still on and is working great.

Thanks for the info! I’ll get one ordered.

Here’s what I have, it attaches to the accelerator pedal through the firewall.

$15 it’s yours including shipping. IMG_0232.jpeg
