Finally time to redo my A/C with new evaporator, accumulator ,orifice tube and seals due to leaky evap. compressor is new last year and should be fine for re-use.
My problem is that the label is gone that states how many ounces of Freon it holds, can someone check their label or manual for the required ounces for me ,I would greatly appreciate it.
thanks , Keith. 1994 ranger xlt ,2.3, 5 speed ,supercab.

I use to teach a different way... I wrote the class with Ford engineers to teach at the Dyno Lab in Dearborn.

I would use printed material for adding the suggested oil amounts for replacing components... and you will need to add oil.

But you simply fill the system until the inlet and outlet temperatures are same on the evaporator... the system will be full. Work every single time too.
