1994 347/c4 build -project- rebel rouser

Just want to say happy thanksgiving to all. Hope u all have a safe and enjoyable time with ya fam n friends.

On a quick update, trucks down on all fours..first time in 2 months :)
Got the maiden voyage in and there is an issue with the trans...it moves but not the way it's supposed to. I'm reading, maybe the tq c is not seated...in which case I may have just blown that tq c. Well see. I added more fluid and will check later. If not to the shop it goes.
Hopefully it's noting major.
Other than that, engine is running well. Leaks are all good mins trans pan. Still gotta do gauges and exhaust but we are about there.
Anyways have a great day.

No, but it goes thru the gears fine with my shifter. I'm bringing it in over the weekend since I'm not a trans man. Hoping I seated it correctly but not sure. Am more worried I damaged the front pump than anything else at this point.
It did drive, felt lots of slippage and wasn't really moving like it should.
I came back and put more fluid in it but didn't get the chance to try it out as I'm alil nervous to do anything else trans wise..plus it was dinner time so I hung it up for the day.

My dad and bro think I didn't put enough fluid in the tq c since it only called for a quart

Any suggestions to look at befor it goes on the flatbed?

Don't really ever fill the converter here a work . Usually I'll but 5 to 6 quarts and start it . Then add another 4-6 depending on trans ( more for diesels of course ) . Always read the lowest line of fluid on the dipstick . Look on both sides of the stick . If the pump was missed up it be poring fluid the bellhousing and wouldn't move . Check the fluid and I'm sure the linkage for the kick down on a c4 in were the shifter linkage is also . It's the linkage inside the shifter linkage with a knob sticking out .
Here's one here at the shop I'll get a pic and see what up brotha .

I ran around with my dad this morning n got some goodies for the truck.
1. Picked up new one wire 140 amp alternator
2. Picked up tachometer.
3. Got new power steering hose made

I got home from there and got my alt installed n p.s hooked up. From there I got it started...got her idling good and then went thru the gears...it feels much better now with more fluid. I do still need to hook up vacume to it but some of my fears are alil lessened now. This trip down the street it felt bmso much better. It still may need a qt or 2 since I didn't get to check it when it was warm. So, good things hoping to have it street worthy next weekend.
Still need to do my gauges, exhaust and some little odds. But..she's running and I'm feeling good about where it is at now.

@Atx, thanks for the input and support, means a lot and really appreciate it.

Ono till next update. Heading out for the weekend so I'm done till next.

Oh forgot my pics.

The alternator is a power master 140 amp ford v belt set up. Perfect for my application and system down the road.

Didn't get much time today to work on it but I was able to run vacume off the intake to the trans. Pretty sure we are about there trans wise. Fuild level is good now when warm.
Just need to get a better radiator and exhaust hooked up and it should be close to road worthy. Here's a quick vid of me taking it down the street.

Next weekend I'll focus on getting the exhaust cut up and bolted in along with my gauges installed. Also hope to clean up my wiring. trim, tape and loom it nicely.
