So my front clip is pretty messed up. Bunch of dents and bent edges everything. Hit a tree with the driver side fender as well. So naturally I'm going to replace it all cause I love my truck (despite how I treat it sometimes) and I was wondering what kind of front clip swaps are the most 'do-able'. Also looking for the best looks. I really like the chromed 06-10 grilles cause it reminds me of a Superduty but I'm not sure on how that swap would go.

Anything 98 and newer will require a core support swap if you want to do it properly. Otherwise I remember somewhere where there was a guide on how to get a newer front end without a core support swap,I think it may have been on here, I can't remember...

Otherwise you are stuck with the 93-97 front end. You could do a 97 front end, the 95-97 trucks have a cleaner looking grille, add a 01+ bumper and it should look great.

Thats the one. Josh (josh40601) performed the swap. Basically, you need 04+ hood, 98+ fenders, 04+ header panel and 01+ lights, and 01+ hood latch. The hood latch is what makes the swap different...
