Awesome start! I like the idea of the bull bars but if you want to make a real off road they are a little poser. I'de make a steel bumper. Same with the back.
I totally get the slow build too. I'm trying too build my ranger while going to school and working part time at a bowling alley. It's pretty difficult especially when I'm trying to make 100 dollar payments on it every two weeks.
Looking good so far, always nice to see another 93. Your truck started out a lot like mine. Really reminds me of mine too, especially the no stereo suckiness
Keep up the good work, I'm going to subscribe and follow along to see how the rig turns out.
Why not try and work construction in the summer to make a little more money for your project, or get a second job. Thats what i did in college was worked two jobs. In the morning i worked at a grocery store, then in the evening i worked in a pop warehouse loading trucks for the next days delivery. The first job paid all the bills, second was all for toys.
Really havent done much to the ranger, just driven it. I have purchased a 6 inch lift kit, with all sorts of new stuff to go with it. New ball joints, shocks, spring hangers, shackles and more! Plus I ave purchased some 33 inch tires. Cant wait to get it done, hopefully next weekend.
Took the ranger muddin' and got stuck. Someone has those pictures but I dont. Took the ranger places it had no right going, and I'm sure the diffs were on the ground most of the time. Really impressed some people though, Including myslef. Open Diffs front and rear and no 4 LO.
