I have no idea what kind of differential I have in my truck. Its is a 4WD. I want to replace whatever I have with a much better one. Lately I've gotten stuck twice and im really on an upgrade kick, cause im gettin aggervated. Also, how difficult and expensive is it to add lockers? Anybody know of really good deals on MT tires?

I would get a loc-right for yours. You can get it for the front one but the rear is for 4.10 and down in gearing. They got good prices here for lockers, gears, ect http://www.trsfabandoffroad.com/
4.10 down NUMERICALLY, however it will work with any ratio... Your front end should be a D35 (could also be a d28/35 hybrid depending on engine). Your rear axle will either be a 7.5 or 8.8, again, depends on engine. Lunchbox lockers run about $300 each and full carrier lockers typically start around $500 each.

Front axle in a 93 will be the Dana 35 if you have the 4.0L and could be a dana 28/35 hybrid otherwise. The dana 35 will have ribs on the aluminum housing and the hybrid will be smooth.

I have the 4.0 model. Whats the best differential in yalls opinion, for someone that does alot of mud rideing, AND some highway travelin?
