so pulled the filter out and forgot wich way it pointed im ready to put the new one in and just wanted to know wich way the arrow points thank you. or wich way the flat side faves and wich way the curved side faces.

Arrows are directional. Since direction of flow is the only thing really all that directional about a fuel filter, logically the arrow points in the direction of flow since is does not make a lot of sense for it to point against the direction of flow.
