Hi buddy of mine was putting in rear axle seals and got everthing done but he ran into a little trouble the long pin with small bolt that holds the pin in broke the bolt that is, he got it out and i have some rangers for parts first pin was to short about half in, I guess what i need to kinow do i need to look at codes on the door and if so what years and will 2wd be the same ? Thanks for the help.
I checked a little more and i guess its the differential pin, mine has 4 flat sides on it 2 on either end, Im sure there all the same on the 8.8.
Now just need to find out the codes and years, as we have a few late mid to late 80s 2wds and one early model 4x4 hoping one of these will work ? other wise will head to local parts yard thanks much for any and all help.
