I was curious if anybody knows if the frames from a 1993 ranger xlt and a 1995 ranger xlt are the same? As I posted in my introduction post frame on mine snapped on both sides. I have the chance at a '95 frame if it will work with the '93 components ( cab, engine, bed etc...) Thx in advance for any input

As long as the body setup/wheelbase of the two trucks are the same you are good to go.

I want the story for how the hell you broke BOTH sides of your frame... lol

Thanks for the quick responses and as for how they broke I believe the driver side was already broke when i got it since it looks pretty beat up like it's been a while and the other day i was driving out of my property to get the daughter from the bus and it broke getting back to the house lol. I live in the woods and our driveway is nothing but ruts and rock n such :P So alot of ways to rattle and flex it lol

Given the area of PA that he lives in, I think the real question is how did he only break it in two places.

LOL yea we go through frames out here like water and air. One in kittanning i'm hopin they will give me for a half decent price haha

Dude, Indiana County is the reason this state has such strict inspection laws.

Yea im in armstrong. No emissions but thank god this is just a beater and local vehicle or id be screwed on inspection haha

I just read this response from your intro.

Interesting about the frames. I've never heard of people having to replace frames due to wear & tear.

You could box up the frame more, right?

I could but this ones pretty weak. Ran a wire brush over it and all sorts of weak spots and holes showed through. Lookin for a parts vehicle to just get one with a stronger frame then ill go tat route with it.
