Hello, hope to attract a few clever guys on what should be an easy job. I am replacing a speed sensor connected to a mechanical speedometer cable that engages the left side of the transmission. The sensor disconnects easy enough from the transmission. Is there an easy way to disconnect the speedometer cable from the speed sensor? The clip holding the speedo cable in place doesn't seem to pull out. Am I missing a procedure here? Any and all comments welcomed.
