1991 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 STX OD and cruise control not working

Can anybody give me some suggestions on my OD and cruise control problems? All other gears in the auto transmission shift fine but It will not shift into OD after 45 mph. Cruise control just doesn't work truck only has 44000 miles.

I did a tranny swap in my first RBV a 92 Explorer, when I did I left one sensor unplugged and it caused my cruise and OD to not work. You could check and make sure every thing is properly connected, and there's no corrosion in the plug. If it all looks good sounds like a transmission speed sensor. That's about all I've got to offer.
