1991 Explorer XLT 4x4

i have a 1991 explorer that i bout off my uncle for 200$ it has the 4.0 v6 in it. my uncle had drove it from arizona to indiana with a blown head gasket. and then he let it sit for 4-5 years. when i bought it i completely rebuilt the motor and now its in and it runs like crap. i put a code reader to it, (the kind that has a red light and you have to count everytime it flashes) and im getting a bunch of codes, but having trouble with the codes. please help

The codes are sometimes difficult the decypher. what I do is video the code reader and then play the video back on my computer. makes things a lot easier. Also allows you to show somebody else to verify you are counting them correctly.

Ok, and do you know if it's specifically two or three fidget codes? Because I can't find that out either

Get the Innova odb-1reader from Amazon for about$20, it has a nice lcd display. No guessing.
