Can someone please post a pic, of the round vac distribution block, of a 2.3 manual transmission truck?

Thanks

Sorry, don't have a pic...are you referring to the tree-like vac thingy that some have?

I know that most trucks have a vac diagram on the front cross-member just under the hood, but that is just a schematic...if you don't have one, go to a junk yard...but they are getting harder to find in original shape...or go to a Ford dealer and ask for the diagram...they do have them...

Mine isn't stock anymore otherwise I would get you a picture...

I do remember a few things about the vacuum routing though and have the sticker under the hood (yours should have one too that tells the important vacuum locations)

what are your specific issues? One line goes to the heater control, one is a green hard line and goes to the rear of the passenger fender (little module with a red and green vacuum line, I think it's the EGR controller) and the large line to the brake booster and that's about it

I'll see if I can pull one up from All Data Pro for you and post it.

Lets hope this comes through alright.....

Bottom of diagram represents front of truck. Hash lines are VAPOR lines.

The line coming off the circle tree, at the 12 o'clock position. On my truck, its capped off. The diagram is less than clear as to where that on goes.

Thats simply a central access point for vacuum.
Any port on that access point can go to any item that requires a vacuum.
It does not matter which port is used for any item in need of a vacuum.
In the diagram it looks as if it goes to the EGR solenoid valve or the map sensor.
But like I said it does not matter which goes to what. Its simply a matter of hose length.
The vacuum draw is the same at any port on the hub.
If it is capped off on yours though I would assume it is from the factory ?
