1990 Ranger will not shift to 4x4 Low... unique situation

Sorry folks, been awhile.
Just following through for those who might find this thread later looking for answers.
I could not figure out the neutral switch bypass on this setup, so I ended up wiring in a polarity reversing bumper switch ($8 amazon) to force it into low when I needed it. I tapped into the wires going to the motor after the shift computer. Fairly simple setup, I just wanted to avoid a workaround and just get what I had working. This was probably the easiest way from the beginning.
Thanks, @franklin2 who recommended this setup.

Years ago, there was an EE On the Ranger forums that used bunch of relays, some LEDs and power window switches to make a manual electric case, unfortunately all his information got lost when the Website died.

The LEDs were used to indicate range position. Had the whole thing tucked in his console it was pretty slick.
