A few years ago, my son and I swapped everything important from a 94 Explorer into his 90 Ranger. I'm left with the 2.3, 5 speed, a 1354E and a 1350M t-case, and the 4.10 geared D35 TTB. Now, I also have on hand a Chrysler rear axle from a Cherokee in 4.10 gears. I also have a disco D30 in 3.55, but have the 4.10 gearing available. ANd of course, the engine bay wiring and ECU. But no dash, or gauges.

I've had more than a few silly ideas... Like a 2.3 powered riding mower... But no, I would like a sensible solution. Preferably inexpensive. Hmmm. I have a 1984 Honda 250 Fourtrax that doesn't run. (It may wear that old riding mower body someday...)

In all seriousness, I have looked for a non running B2 for all this stuff.

What would the group do with such a pile of stuff?

Edit, just for giggles, this made me laugh...

Of course, 12 years ago I gave away a 2wd automatic... Interesting thought though...

Make a nice heap in the attic of my garage. The perfect excuse to install the chain hoist I've been wanting.

Definitely the 4 cyl riding mower....

I have all that stuff in my daily driver truck... but the body is just starting to fall apart so I'll be right there with you eventually. I spent $1600 rebuilding the engine 30k ago, I rebuilt the trans and everything is in great shape... would be a shame to sell it off for nothing when I have to put the truck down someday. I know a local guy who builds tube chassis for rock crawler buggies... maybe I'll have him build one for me and use my drivetrain.
