1990 Ranger For Sale

The suspension kit new is like $1200, the tires look new, and the seats are mint. Seems like too good of a deal.

Well, you never get out if it what you spend on modifications. Its a nice truck in my opinion and likely a fair price. I’d drive that thing in a heartbeat. I have thousands and thousands of dollars in my truck. But I know it would never sell for what I have spent on it. I built it to be what I want. Not to sell for profit.

But we like Rangers. We know them. We enjoy them. To the average person, it’s just a 35 year old truck with decent tires and non-functional air conditioning. So, it comes down to market demand. Maybe that market is flooded with “average” small pickups and not much demand. So, someone looking fir a dependable, simple truck may get a good deal on that.

Or, maybe there are hidden issues and the seller is trying to dump it. No way to know unless you go check it out in person.

Amongst the non offroad/non enthusiast, a lifted big tired truck is just a gas guzzler... considering that a 1990 blue books for 1700-2700 (2700 being for a mint), that's right in the range for what a guy could hold out for trying to get top dollar actually not really what I would call average price.

@Brain75 Like always we can count on you for the price research.
And once again we all thank you very much.

Sounds about right to me. The mods bring the value up somewhat, but only to the buyer that wants those particular mods. For everyone else that's a hard pass because they know they can't just get stock parts for it if/when they break something.
