Hope someone can help. My 90 Ranger work truck has the power steering pump going out. This is just a little work truck for me and I would like to know if I can just bypass the pump with a new belt. Its got the 2.3L in it and the Alt is run off the same belt. Thanks

Looks like I do not have much more time left on this pump. hate to put the money into it plus its going to need the high pressure line. Anyone have the bracket and stuff from a 2.3 manual motor to change it over?

Found a 93 pump with a good pressure line for $25. So much for the parts stores telling you only this and that will fit. Just the new line was going to be 37 bucks not to include the cost of the rebuilt pump. The one off the 93 fit just fine. I did have to pick up a puller kit, got it from Harbor Freight Tools for $15.
