Hi I got a 1990 ford ranger which has randomly started stumbling when accelerating, can get it to not stumble if I'm very light on the gas. I scanned the computer and got a #13&48 codes. I checked both coil packs for spark on each terminal and all 8 are sparking, plugs/wires are fairly new but I thought I might start by changing the plugs but they are a pain so figured I would check here first! Any ideas are appreciated thanks!!

I would check the MAF for schmutz on the wires. It can cause stumble and hesitation if dirty, and takes just a small amount of deposit on the wire(s) to have an effect.
If clean, check fuel pressure, delivery volume and regulator for proper operation.

Now it's dying on me randomly. But it will start right back up, weird huh?

Think I fixed it by replacing the drivers side coil and also zip tying the loose connector on
