Is there any difference between 1989 2.9 4x4 a4ld engine wiring harness and a 1989 2.9 5 speed engine harness i need to know if the a4ld 2.9 engine wiring harness is a direct plug in to my truck a 1989 2.9 5 speed thanks

I switched from an A4LD trans to a M5OD R1 stick trans and all that was needed was to cut the 5 pin plug that goes into the trans and run 2 wires to the back up switch and two to the clutch interlock switch ( or the neutral sensing switch on the trans as I did.) You should also use a manual trans ecu, but I did not and the truck runs great.
