I have a set of the older Mustang SVE Cobra R wheels, two 17x9, two 16x8, tires are 275-40x17 and 245-45x16.
I tried the 17's on the rear and they fit pretty good, I was surprised. Have not tried the 16's on the front yet
but I think there will be no problem. They are all a tad short in the wheelwells, in my opinion, but others might say Perfect.
The mounted measurements of the 275's are 11-in total width, close to 25 1/2-in diameter, total backspacing including
the sidewall bulge is 6 1/2-in. Take a look at the pics. I think 275-45's would fill up the wheelwell a bit more.

Looks great IMO. Lower that rear about 2" to level the rake and call it done.

Looks good. No spacers or adapters? Offset was correct? I have an 07 Mustang with some rims and tires I'd like to put on my 98 Ranger. Going with a staggered set of rims and tires for the Stang after I get it back with the stick shift.
