1988 SAS and Cummins 4BT

i love the truck im looking for a diesal to put into my 83 ranger dana 35 has 2.8 right now 5 speed and 35 boggers

Thx.......your truck looks pretty cool, is there any more pics of it on here? I really like the half doors.

do you know the weight on that engine and what is the power out put?

I'll chime in to praise your work. Neatly done, and I like the yellow. If anyone asks, tell them you got the motor from a bulldozer...many are gullible enough to believe you! I would, for shit & giggles of course...

How is the bracing holding up to torque while accelerating? Do you have pictures of your motor mounts?

someday when my 04 is on its last legs.. its gonna be sas and 4bt or a vm motori diesel like in the liberty crd or the damn euro stroker out of a ranger..

Good work rich its beautiful! im with everyone though we need pic's and vids!

So far so good with no problems other than a few bolts coming loose...the Cummins is listed as weighing in the neigborhood of 750 lbs and puts out about 125 hp and 325 lbs torque. More than enough power to spin the tires in 1st and 2nd gears:icon_hornsup:

At the request of Jim Oaks I sent him a full series of build pics and a parts list, he said he wanted to add it to the magazine section, so hopefully all the pics will be up soon.
