Highly desirable factory EZ Rust Roof finish option. (That'll buff right out!)

Mandatory bed rusting Shure-Leak toolbox.

Removable (single use only) tailgate lettering for sneaking into S10 events incognito.

Deluxe cup holder option (on the door). Note the Portable Rear View mirror atop the dash. The heavy tools that can't easily be hoisted into the Super Cab space are safely stashed on the passenger seat and floor space.

I bought it brand new and it was my daily driver for 10 years. The 2.9L's lifters tap faster than Gregory Hines in his prime sometimes and run smoothly at others. The clutch is new so it pulls like a draft horse. I keep intending to get rid of it and replace it with a full size truck (I so want an 8 foot bed) but it keeps passing the emission tests every two years.

Then, I suddenly realized it was 20 years old and it's not that far away from a complete resurrection. I still have all 5 original 14" wheels but I'd go larger and try for a slight drop.

Clean it, paint it, fix it. I don't know.

That'll work and I would not expect anyone to work for free.

Real cheap, maybe but not free.

I'm thinking of asking TRS to open a section for all the "Fred Sanford Edition" Rangers out there. We could use the support.

Welcome...a bit late but...

Fred SanFORD edition...I like it...and mine is as Fred as you can get...with a part from just about every Ranger that met the boneyard...not really, it's mostly original and some parts from my previous Ranger...

1988 was a good year...I've had two of them and they are nice to work on...hope you get your stairs fixed...nothing like having a wonky staircase...lol!

Hah! All these years I've been referring to it that way I never realized the "Ford" part was in it. Duh!

If I hadn't had the engine pack it in and need an overhaul at 100k, I'd have taken better care of it, I suspect.

I've been thinking of replacing it for years but now it's close to becoming a 'classic' vehicle so I may start to dump money into it. I dunno.
