So I've owned my bronco 2 for a couple of years now and lately I've been experiencing some electrical problems and have begun the adventure of fixing them throughout my adventure I've noticed some more then.. unpleasant design flaws. But this has also stirred up some ideas in the process and I would like to also get some ideas on other improvements i could do along the way

My first problem I encountered was faulty/corroded grounds then I started to notice wiring that was damage or just degraded.

After fixing alot of the problematic wiring on the engine harness and bottom frame harness I started experimenting with dedicated relays for things such as the ignition coil, headlights(low/high), running lights, fuel pump and have been planning a upgraded rad with electric fans I'm currently planning to gut the harnesses and do a complete rebuild and rerun them in a better fashion involving lengthening them in some cases.

If you can thing of other components that would benefit from dedicated relays I would love to hear about it also.

I'm also planning to integrate my other accessory wiring into it such as my led lights my two inverters (one in front and on in back) my solar panels and solar controller etc..

I've also thought of doing a custom fuse box under the hood replacing all of the fuseable links throughout

Also forgot to mention I'm also planning to make a sort of Bob tap box for the mcu and planning on relocating the mcu to a safer location

the wire barn is decent for good txl wire.... https://www.wirebarn.com/

and a 20 circuit setup for hotrod/pickup application will work well.

this is sketchy https://www.ebay.com/i/401490568668?chn=ps but cost effective, never used em..

these are my go to...... https://www.ebay.com/p/Speedway-22-...nstructions/675781132?iid=381219594617&chn=ps

i have built many b.o.b.'s into conversions over the years but getting a good supply of obd1 ford pins is pretty hard to do these days. so rebuilding your actual eec harness isnt always the easiest thing to do. though i have used 3.0 setups to run the 2.9

I got a free donor harness from a friends old rolled and trashed 89 ranger do I'm building the new harness from that one (depinning unneeded wires from the plug)
