1988 BII Build

For your control arms axle end use these.

If you want I can throw a scrap piece of 2" DOM .250 wall in with your other parts. Just need about 4" of it to make the ends.

i looked into doing that, but DOM is hard to find around here and fawking out the ass expensive when you do find it. sending you a PM in just a sec.

bushings are on the way from summit. i need to use them more often. it was only $5 for "delivery/handling fees" and free shipping. $21.xx shipped to my door. not bad

Used to be they charged $12 handling fee no matter what you got I think too many people complained so they started doing 5 dollar handling I thought that was more reasonable. They ship super quick too.

looks like i've got a line on a 1354M....FINALLY!!!!! i've only been looking forever. now i just need to line up some 1/2" aluminum and start gathering parts for a doubler

To make my upper link on the radius arm I used a Currie JJ cause I had it already and then Currie bung 1.5 .120 wall HREW. To make the axle end I took a chunk of 2x2 square then cut pieces of flat stock to make the end. Used the chunk to 2x2 to make the shape. You just lay the plate around the 2x2 and tack it. Then pull it off and weld it up works like a champ.

Just found these cruising around on Summitracing today...

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CUR-CE9102/

$230 for just the uppers :shok:

i'm only using one upper as well, on the drivers side. it cost me about $50 for mine. that's buying DOM from ruffstuff as well as a heim kit.

the lower arms will cost me less than $100 a piece when done (EDIT-guess i should add, that's if i can find a good deal on the 2x2 box tube.....i have a line on it, but nobody answers when i call.)

Yea I bout shit at the price of those things...
