1988 BII Build

got all the u-bolts out on the driver side leaf spring, the front spring hanger is being a little bitch and doesnt wanna come out. i've got it loosened, but it's hard as hell to turn. cant heat it or get any PB blaster on it. i'll get it out tomorrow after work.

forgot i had bought some newish calipers and pads from another TRS member this summer, got them and my extended lines out so i can get them in once the rear is complete..................yeah, she's dirty

What coils are you running?

4" tuff country i'm pretty sure. got them from legoms after he went higher.

Are they RBV coils? I noticed they didn't fit quite right and you got a hose clamp.

yeah, they should be. he ran them on his mazda for a while. they fit the coil buckets just fine. i put the hose clamp on it so they would stay up in the buckets without me having to hold them while i was assembling everything.

Gotcha. Progress looks good.

thanks man, i want this thing done so i can finally drive it

So let me know how you like those brackets that you modified. I'm thinkin of gettin a 87 B2 to get goin for my little sister and she wanted to put a lift on it and I was gonna jump on a RC kit cause there cheap. I'm probably gonna copy how you modified them if thats ok with you.

go for it man, i copied it from other people on here. pretty much just gusset anywhere you can, but make sure you can still put all your nuts/bolts on.

the only thing i did that i didnt see on here was clearance the driver side drop plate

Ya im definantly gonna mod the drop plate. I would jump on a JD 3 inch kit its just that I dont want to put more money than necessary into my sisters B2. HAHA im a great brother lol!

the duff kit is nice, quality stuff. i didnt have the fundage for one myself. i got the coils and drop brackets from TRS members for $50 shipped for each. then i pieced together everything else

ah yes, i see your sig. as for extended radius arms, look at the stonecrusher site. they have some screw on extensions for the stock radius arms. they arent too pricey either, much cheaper than skyjacker or duff arms.

disciplerocks, posted above, had some on his. he could probably give you better info or check out his build thread
