1988 automatic lock outs. Where to buy parts for it?

I had some bearings go out and they took out the nylon round cam piece with a spring around it that slides over the spindle nut. I have tried the dealer and local parts stores and no one can get anything for the auto locking hubs. I really like my auto locking hubs and don't want to switch to manual lock outs. Where can I buy parts for automatic lock outs?

Keep an eye on the classifieds. A lot of people swap them for manuals, you should be able to pick up a set for fairly cheap.

I'm not sure you could ever get the cams separately, they have always come with the hub. You can still buy the hubs from Ford but the last time I priced out a set for a customer they were $370 EACH! You're gonna have to go with used stuff if you have your heart set on keeping the autos.

The plastic cams are usually the first thing to fail with the auto hubs. you need to find a friend with a 3D printer.

I sent ya a PM. I just removed my auto ones and replaced them with manual hubs. Mine is a 94' so not sure they will fit or not. ANYONE KNOW?? U can have them for the price of me shipping them to ya.

no, unfortunately. your 88 is a d28 axle, his 94 is a d35 axle.
