I have a 1988 ranger with a 302 stuffed in it. Whomever did the swap did it correctly with the exception of replacing the springs with new ones or Jacking up the strength of the springs..they used screw in spring spacers and the camber is bad out of shape. From reading here on the ranger station... I can use the v6 springs from the same year model truck to get the correct ride height with the v8 could someone confirm what I have concluded? or is there a different spring someone would suggest?

I'd grab some F-150 springs from a wrecker. They might ride a little rough but they can certainly handle the weight.

I put new Ranger coil springs in and it rides great/supports the 350-V8 with no bottoming out. If you're gonna race it...do what they said...
