It acts like the battery is almost dead when I try to start it warm. It only happens sometimes. The local Ford Dealer replaced the battery, starter and alternator. That didn't help. They then had it for 3 days and could not find the problem. Help!

Did the dealership recheck the timing?
Maybe a better question might be what has been done other than what you already listed??

did they check the compression?
for poor grounds?

They checked the timing and said it was right on, the motor has been replaced and has about 20,000 miles on it. It has always run low on coolant and ran with the temp gauge barely into the bottom of the arch. I replaced the thermostat so now it runs at normal temp but still the same problem. The dealership said they checked every terminal and connection. They didn't say anything about checking the compression though.

Just thinking that you might have a cracked head or bad head gasket. that under the right circumstances....weeps coolant into a lung...thereby giving it a hard start situation.
