1987 Shawdow Edition

Thanks Straycat...I don't think by any means I have uncovered an original copy of the Constitution under a velvet picture of dogs playing poker (i.e. have a tremendous find in $ terms) but since everyone here likes and appreciates Rangers I'm just looking for some input before I do anything I may regret later.

I got to thinking that my option D was not intended to be a classified ad...so everyone please forgive me if it came across that way.

Not to worry about the advertising thingie, Bro. You have a small piece of Ford history...not to many are around.

I would say a full resto but with a 302 on a dose of steroids possibly. The logical side of me says do a full resto with the 4 cyclinder.

i'd swap in a built 2.3T/t5 combo... would be fun... sort of like Ford's version of the lil' red express, lol

i say go for the 302 swap with a mild build and depending on how low it is already since i see it is pretty low i would drop it some maybe an ince in the rear to even it out if u drop a 302 in it then take and leave it all stock outside with some interior touches such as leds with maybe some bucket seats.

i like the shadow i own 1 too any more info? 4/5spd.? more pictures? its hard to find any info on these trucks thanks

i say resto and 2.3 5/6spd thats built up for power. a 2.9 would be my second choice. id keep the factory ride hight and keep it 2wd but with a 8.8 with L/S. 4x4 on a rare truck is just asking to tear up the body, wich is something you wouldn't want to do to a rare fiberglass bed. lowering seems kinda out of place on a stepside..
