I have a 87 ford ranger that i am doing a motor swap on for a turbo motor and I was wondering how do you completely eliminate the need for a computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What does the new engine need to run?

As far as I was aware, an engine swap involved swapping in "computer" (the ECM) for the new engine. And when wiring harness for new engine/computer differs is means bringing in the right harness (one reason for dash swap) for that engine/computer or a whole bunch of wiring.
