Thanks! Its been a long haul but these projects are never really finished haha.
I am staying away from the "kinker."
Oh also picked up a 1piece aluminum drive shaft, installed new u-joints. you can kind of see it in the previous pictures.

I got lucky and now can rent a garage with lift down the street from work so progress is ramping up!
Last weekend I removed the 4inch lift beams. (they are up for sale btw, accepting offers!)
Im going to clean up the frame and install fabtech "longtravel" kit which uses the 93+ dual piston brake calipers.

Cleaned up the front half of the frame and used Steel-it to paint it. Will do the back half later on.

Hung the new suspension!! Fab Tech I-Beam Kit

Put coils and tires on to test fit and ride height. Wheels are off a jeep Comanche, love how they look but the offset makes for some rubbing :(

Dont love how high it sits in the front. I used the coil spring calculator and estimated the orange ones are round 550ppi. Purchased some Skyjacker 136 coils to lower front height and soften the ride. The Skyjackers are 1.5 inches lower and around 440ppi according to this site. Fox Shocks also on the way!

Looking good!

Thanks Jim,
Will have some more to upload after this weekend!

Great. Look forward to it!

Where did you find that old school Fabtech lift at? Have not seen that kit in years. Knew some folks in the past with that exact Fabtech on thier Rangers, and they performed great. That was a excellent kit they made. Glad to see your using it.

If you go back in my thread you will see a red Prerunner single cab ranger. (I guess I never explained that bit.)
It was actually featured on here at one point. https://therangerstation.com/Magazine/winter2008/NAT-PreRunner.shtml
Any ways, that truck was up for sale, so I bought it with the intention of driving it as a daily. However, it was in worse shape than I thought. Rusty frame and a motor issue forced me to part it out and use the suspension parts on this truck. I transfered the Fabtech kit, Deaver leafs and an Explorer rear axle. So its story lives on, which is pretty cool.

I do recall Aaron buying that white 94 Ranger, and doing this transformation with the Fabtech lift. While he was doing whatever he was doing with his black 95 Ranger he had years ago. Glad to see your using that lift, and it will serve you for years to come. Spoke with Aaron quite a bit when he was on here, cool guy. Great Ranger your building, I live out west in prerunner country, and certain individuals are still using that old fabtech i-beam kit. Years later they are still holding together strong.

Glad to hear that! The beams seem well built thats for sure.
I have seen these beams up for sale on the west coast but they are so heavy no one wants to ship. I got lucky these were out east. Finding parts would be so much easier out there lol.
I think Aaron got into rally racing and has dropped off here.

Installed some sound deadening and ordered a vinyl floor from LMC, great product but a hard material to work with in a cold garage. Definitely recomend this be done in warmer weather or it will take 3x as long as it normally should.
