1986 Ford Ranger w/ 2.3 FI.. 5 speed manual transmision

Hello, I am asking you all if it is hard to replace the oil pump on this engine.. I figured that since i am going to be taking the Transmission out to replace the clutch, that i would go ahead and tackle this too. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am always open to suggestions. thanks for your time..

if you need to replace the oil pump and clutch, pull the engine, it's easier that way... the pan is nearly impossible get out with the engine in place, to do so it has to be lifted until the transmission hits the body, and at that point it's only a few extra wires and exhaust to just pull the engine...
