Hello Everybody I have a 1986 Ford Ranger 2WD awaiting a Chevy 350 to be put in it and I was wondering if anybody knew what radiator to use and if anybody here has done it before what kind of motor mounts were used or the specifications the mounts were fabbed to so the 350 would fit correctly? any advice will be greatly appreciated thank you.

just grab a radiator for a 302 or 351 out of a f150 and modify the radiator support on the ranger to make it fit. you are going to have to move quite a bit of stuff under hood to fit the engine. 351 swaps usually entail the master cylinder having to be relocated due to lack of firewall clearance and the hoods usually need modified. im pretty sure the 350 will have the same problems. you might be better off just going with the 302 and there are conversion kits floating around everywhere for that swap.

There's a few 350 build threads in this forum that can answer the questions you're looking for. I am too lazy to look for you, but I know they are there. :)

thanks for the advice. sadly i can't go with a 302 since i have none available at the moment

check out my build in the signature below. it has all the specs of the rad i used and everything.
