1986 Engine trouble I think


Well some one told me it might be the fuel pressure regulator could this be it and guess what the dipstick smells like gas

Well...the dipstick smelling like gas isn't a good sign. Are you gaining in oil level?? if yes, then the FPR is done. Are you sure that your coolant level is staying the same?

if this has been sitting since 2005...the gas that is in the tank now is the same, it isn't much for gas, more like varnish. Unless the gas has been flushed and replaced. A new fuel filter couldn't hurt either.

and getting the codes will help in and other issues that maybe in the mix.

well the gas tank was empty until we put some in it the other day And I do not know about the other yet, Well The Oil is gaining and there is no coolant in it
