after 4 fuel pumps still cuts off 2.9l every thing else new HELP just left ford dealer 81 bucks diagnostics fuel pump bad sick of hearing that something is turning off fuel Parts guy suggests run a hot wire directly to pump to verify problem is in wiring pump would run as soon as ignition is turned on Excess gas is returned to tank anyway

Hi, I'm new to TRS, I have a 2.9l v6 that keeps cutting off, I've tried 4 different fuel pumps but it still cuts off. I just left the ford dealership and had to pay $81 for diagnostics. they keep telling me that something is turning off the fuel pump.


1) check wiring
2) check fuses
3)check fuel lines
4)post questions in legible english to get better feedback

Which pump are you replacing? There are 2.

I had the tank pump quit recently and it doesn't just kill the engine it turns into a stalling dying pain in the butt.
