1984 Bronco II for sale at local dealership...will it sell?

TMU = too much underwear

TMU... Total Mileage Unknown

Just a guess but that's my take away from looking at the ad

Thats actually priced less then the average super clean survivor B2s that ive seen popping up.

I think someone will snag it probably pretty quick.

what you can see looks nice, my least favorite stlye of factory rims and a 2.8 V6, I dont know if they are all that way but one I drove once didnt seem any diffrent power-wise from a 2.3 4 cyl. Great starting point though.

I would like to have it... but chances are every piece of the powertrain and driveline would be scraped for upgrades.

I also agree... if it's clean... that price isn't out of the question.

I agree with TMU = total mileage unknown.

For posterity;

It is a pretty clean/neat truck. Not sure I have seen vinyl buckets like that before.

Too bad the dash is hacked up and it doesn't have a radio for 7 grand though...

My 90 BII XL had those same seats. They are the lowest trim package seats you can get in a BII... and they’re the most uncomfortable things ever installed in a RBV.

I kinda figured, my base model Ranger had a bench seat with same covering.

Doesn't look too bad, says engine overhauled....could be a good thing or bad thing depending on who did it and how well it was done. It has a C3 or C5 automatic in it, so that would alleviate the dang A4LD gremlins LOL. Its a carbureted engine so no fuel injection troubles, it has a mechanical fuel pump on the engine block, so no in-tank pump replacement fun. $6k isn't too bad I guess considering its a body on frame SUV that's mostly mechanically operated. The computer in it didn't control much, it was more emissions related than engine management.

I miss my 84 Bronco 2, but the dang body and frame on it were just too far gone to try and repair. If it weren't for that I'd still have it, it was an odd color yellow/white, haven't seen another one around in that color scheme.

I think its the C5 transmission since its a 4WD, but my 84 Ranger had a C5 though and it was 2 wheel drive so not sure how accurate the tech section is for that stuff.

Most are c5.

Judging by the hitch. Could be a Bondo buggy.

Yeah something smacked that hitch pretty good to bend it up like that. Its also not a factory hitch, it would have been a Class 2 1-1/4" receiver hitch back then I believe and would have been tucked up much closer to the rear bumper. Attached is a factory receiver hitch I pulled from a pick a part yard off an 86 Bronco 2.
