I have looked through the different repair books and they have the same wire diagrams.. what I need it the cluster pinout diagram and what each wire goes to. I have the connector with 18 pins. Any help would be appreciated

I think some '83's only had one connector though. If that is the case you might try to snag a EVTM for your truck on ebay or something. It will not have the pinout but you can extrapolate what you know goes to to the cluster and figure it out by wire color.

A pinout chart for that cluster doesn't exist.
I had to figure it all out for myself, but mine was an 87 and most of it probably wouldn't apply to yours. I also didn't write anything down
