My first truck. Bought it when I was 14 or 15 for $1000.

Original specs:

Current specs:
351W w/ 3spd from a 69 Mach-1
First year I-Beams
Manual steering and brakes
Still has defrost.
Lacks a radio

Plans:
Have it fully primed and ready for paint by December
Most likely a bodylift to clear the tcase
4wd conversion and motor swap D44 with 300 I6, 5spd. 3.73 gears
31" rubber

New Plan specs
400/C6 combo
D44/9" combo 3.43 gears
Bronco frame

!!!!!New plans!!!!
Put the body on a Bronco frame.
Use Bronco drivetrain
???
Hopefully it will be done then.

Neat truck with the stepside, my neighbor up the road has a similar truck but is a longbox with a homemade plywood topper.

Why trade the 351 for a 300? Seems like a step in the wrong direction to me? :icon_confused:

I like torque. Also got plans for the 351 and a Ranger or 69 Camaro. Depends on what happens.

351W's usually beat a 300 all the way around year for year.

I was actually thinking the same thing but both are pretty reliable (especially that inline 6!)

That looks like a cool build man. Good luck w/ it

Holy shit.

What's this?

Something actually got done?

Sweet! I love those trucks.

You should find a fleetside bed and weld that thing back into a Bronco.

How B-A would a 66 full-size bronco be...?!
