Well the condition of this one is so bad it will never look good stock. Thats why I'm gonna build it up as a crawler if it was nice and had everything to make it stock i'd keep it stock.

Pics? Please don't turn it into some stupid big crawler. If you want a crawler, use a ranger, something that's a dime a dozen and isn't worth anything. I'd be willing to bet a beat up Willys is worth more than you think.
Get it back to original running condition and run circles around the guys on bigger drive trains.

If anything, Sell it. They are worth a couple thousand in crap condition. Use that money for your crawler. I hate to see one of them destroyed

That being said, I have a 52 Willys MB and a 53 Cj2a. The Cj2a is going to be used for the lift it has for the 52 MB (open locked motor) which I am planning on turning into a strict trail vehicle, no street driving.

Probably a 2 or 3. It has no roll bar, windshield, and is missing the seat frames.

STOCK SUCKS! Be original and go for it! It would be a one of a kind rig that only a small few have and most are stock. Here is my fathers that I'm not allowed anywhere near. He's a stock kinda guy.

If he don't sell it I will eventually get ahold of it. Its just a matter of time!

It runs like a dream. The little flat 4 is so quiet you can't hear or feel it running. I learned how to drive stick with this. He drives it every once and a while to the store and to cruze the mountian trails with.

Put on some nice military tires and that thing will be good. And with the way you are talking, I wouldn't let you anywhere near it either. If you get it, sell it and use the money for something that can be built better.
