I bought a 2006 Ranger XLT last fall. It has a 2.3L and 5 spd 2wd. The truck had a miss when I bought it but didn't have any codes that it was throwing. So, in case anyone else is having this trouble, a new coil pack solved the issue for me. Also, I spent a lot of time looking for specific information for my truck accepting all different types of mustang wheels. There were a lot of questions still in my mind after all my research, but in the end, I ended up with a nice look. If anyone else has a similar truck, some eibach spacers from Summit and wheels off of a V6 2013 mustang worked great. I believe I went with 25mm in the front and 30mm in the rear. They've been great and have required no retorque in 10,000 miles. Really high quality spacer. I purchased the ones that had the centering rings. I also replaced the grill and bumper with the painted versions. I also removed the pin stripe. It really sharpened up the truck quite a bit. Now I think it needs about 3" or 4" of drop. Just thought I'd say thanks for the help since I've been dwelling behind the scenes. Here's a before a couple of after shots:

Cool, I think you should paint the wheels black. Also, welcome to TRS!

I've flirted with that as well as the tail lights and badging. I'm not sure. But I think your right. I think a semi gloss black would look good.

I'd go for it, I blacked out my emblems and stuff, it would look pretty sweet in all black. For the tail lights, I would get some replacement ones that are in a black housing an have bright led's. As well as the same for the front head lights.
You can have any color you want, as long as it's black.

Basic black and low. Just make sure folks can see your lights

I am not real big on black tail lights... IMO just leave them red.

You can get black headlight housings that only have the reflector chrome. Kinda gives it a neat look with the round chrome reflectors. I have toyed with the idea for my black F-150, I don't really like the nearly white edges they have though.

Tintshade the badges to give them a darker "black chrome" look. Black on a black truck and IMO you might as well just shave them because you won't be able to see them.

A little darker on the wheels would be ok, about the same shade as your valance would be sharp. Leave a bright ring around the bead and at the hub if you can (hard to see what the wheels look like in your pic) to give it a little contrast.

The thing I don't like about all blacked out trucks is unless the light hits it right all you have to look at is a black blob.
