Alright, My 14 bolt came out of a Rollback/tow truck. Its a 10.5 ring gear. I've had a couple people tell me that its narrower than a regular 14-bolt out of a pickup truck.

Now is there any truth to this? Because I'm not running a narrow 14-bolt rear with a fullwidth D60 front. No wheel spacers with high hp and swampers.

If there is a narrow 14-bolt how can i tell which one I have? Thanks guys.

it might not be a narrow version. supposedly it comes in 2 widths 63" and 67" WMS to WMS. so it might be just the smaller of the 2. otherwise measure it and if it is narrower.......bummer

Wow. Super awesome find. Many thanks.

I def dont feel bad anymore knowing what i know now. I have a C&C 14Bolt.

Again thanks!!

Wheel spacers wouldn't hurt that thing anyway. That ain't riding on little axle-shaft bearings. Your power--even if it were a lot, has nothing to do with wheel spacers on a full-floating axle. You are putting an axle rated to carry 7,500# in a little Ranger. You could space the wheels out 4' on each side and it would yawn. All the axle does is put power to the wheels and a 2.5, turbo or not, isn't enough to even keep the rust off of that thing, let alone threaten its health.

25lbs of boost and launch control is alot lol. But your prolly right, a u-joint or driveshaft will go before the axle will.

And with 5.13 gears on 38.5 boggers shouldn't be too awful bad. As long as 5.13's are low enough.

I simply wouldn't put spacers on anything...don't trust them period and it ain't because they are hard on bearings. Seen them shear all the studs off of axle shafts while at highway speeds...not cool.

some swear by em and some wouldn't put them on a pinto
