I had an old Blazer with an NP205 I converted over to a twin stick and I could have made it a triple stick had I spent the money. Now I am thinking of swapping a 1354 into my explorer to make it stick instead of electric but am wondering if either of those options are posible with a 1354 as I have never seen one.

Due to the design of the 54, you can't independantly shift the rear from the front, so twin sticking can't be done without extensive modifications...

Depending on your budget, an Atlas transfer case will you give you that option. It comes at quite a price though.

You could also do a home built double. It doesn't give you the option to independently connect and disconnect front and rear, but it will double your final crawl ratio.

Thanks. Gonna be a long time if ever before I spend that kind of money on it for off roading. This is mostly a daily driver I don't want it bad enough to work hard to get it it was just too easy to do in my Blazer. I kinda figured it wouldnt work because what I could tell of the 1350 I have. I have no clue if they share any charachteristics other than I think they are both chain drive but I assumed they did.

Thanks again guys.
